Are The Colts Still A Super Bowl Contender?

The Indianapolis Colts have been the most consistent and dominate regular season team in the NFL over the past seven years.

They have won 12 or more games since the 2003 season, have won 6 of the last 7 AFC South Division titles and they have the best QB in the league on their roster, Peyton Manning.

Despite all the success, the team has only managed to win one Super Bowl title; they are the Super Bowl XLI champs.

The team finished last season 14-2 and were favored to beat the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, but we know how that one ended.

So where do the Colts go from here? Can they make it the big game again? While the answers to these questions remain unknown only one certainty remains. Peyton Manning.

At 34-years-old, the 4-time MVP has never missed a game, 192 straight games played and counting, and will soon own all of the major passing records as soon as the ‘unmentionable one’ retires.

Still, Peyton Manning is only 9-9 in postseason play and have gone winless in six 6 playoffs trips in the playoffs since the Manning Era began in 1998. Their regular season dominance hasn’t translated to postseason success.

Will they win it all this year? I doubt it, but they’ll win at least 12 regular season games.
