We here at No Guts typically don’t dabble in the love lives of sports figures. But sometimes, you just gotta do whatcha gotta do. So today we bring you the story of Hall of Fame receiver, Michael Irvin’s journey into the realms of becoming a Hall of Fame lover.
Now before we actually embark on this journey with Irvin, it must be said that everything that you think about becoming a Hall of Fame lover is absolutely wrong. And while we’re at it, if you somehow believe that you yourself are a Hall of Fame lover, you’re absolutely wrong, at least in Michael Irvin’s eyes. Because frankly the only way Michael believes that one can become a Hall of Fame lover is if you have a Hall of Fame blazer (which you don’t) and you must wear said blazer while making sweet love to your significant other (which you can’t).
NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin on Wednesday chuckled as he told us about the tradition of championship players spending time with the Stanley Cup: “I remember when I was inducted into the Hall of Fame and they gave me my Hall of Fame yellow blazer. I wore it for two straight days. Finally my wife was in bed and said she wanted to make love but that I had to take the coat off. I refused and kept the blazer on because I wanted to perform like a Hall of Famer on the field and off.”
There you have it. The Playmaker’s guide to becoming a Hall of Fame lover.
