Since One Arrest Warrant Didn’t Do The Trick, Another One Has Been Issued For Eddy Curry

Eddy Curry is not having a pleasant offseason. Just a little over a month ago, a Cook County judge issued a warrant for his arrest because he didn’t show up for a hearing. Curry was supposed to sign an agreement to pay the balance of a $660,000 legal settlement stemming from an alleged sexual relationship with an underage girl. When Curry failed to provide his John Hancock, a new arrest warrant was issued.

For the second time in little more than a month, a Cook County judge has issued an arrest warrant for former Chicago Bull Eddy Curry in a legal case that raises new questions about the NBA player’s financial woes.

The previous arrest warrant was issued in late June and quashed earlier this month after attorneys for Curry and the woman reached a payment schedule for the roughly $100,000 still owed the woman, according to court records.

Now the warrant, which calls on Curry to post a $10,000 bond, is in the hands of the Cook County Sheriff’s office, a sheriff’s spokesman said. Because it is a civil matter, deputies are expected to work with Curry’s attorneys to have Curry turn himself in. If that doesn’t work, Curry will be arrested.

Just in case you’re wondering, Curry made $10.5 million last season. And as for his career, he has pulled in $57 million.
Yeah, Eddy Curry is shooting bad.
