USC Students Mourn The Loss Of Pete Carroll With A Candlelight Vigil

8 Flares 8 Flares ×

Here is the scene outside of USC’s Heritage Hall where a group of students assembled for a candlelight vigil to mourn the loss of Pete Carroll.

The last couple of days have been tough for the Trojans. Not only are they losing their head coach, their reportedly first choice, Mike Riley has just signed a 3-year extension with Oregon State. Add the fact that Carroll is said to be taking Jeremy Bates with him and top recruits may be backing away from USC, the Trojan faithful have reason to be mourning.

More of the mourning after the jump.

Supposedly about 50 people showed up to mourn.

Buck up Trojans fans. Better days are coming. That’s unless of course, you hire Jack Del Rio.

  1. I don't get it. Candlelight vigil? Mourning? The guy left for another job. It happens all the time. You'd think he died for heaven's sake.
