Del Rio Will Stay In Jacksonville, For Now

Despite numerous rumors suggesting Jaguars head coach, Jack Del Rio would leave for USC, it appears he will stay in Jacksonville.

Del Rio met with owner Wayne Weaver this morning to obviously discuss moving forward after a disappointing 7-9 season. The Jaguars finished the season on a 4-game losing streak, in which the team underachieved once again.

In seven seasons with the Jaguars Del Rio has a 57-55 record, but has not led his team to the postseason since the 2007 season.

Though he hasn’t done much of late, it looks like Wayne Weaver will give him another chance. But if Del Rio has another season like this one, he won’t have to deny rumors of a job search because it will be in full gear.
