Former NBA player sent back to jail

Things have turned for the worse for 2004 first round draft pick and former Nevada University standout Kirk Snyder.

After 4 years in the NBA, Snyder has spent most of 2009 entangled in Ohio’s legal system.

In April, Snyder pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to felonious assault and aggravated burglary.

During the incident back in March, Snyder broke into his neighbors house and began beating him for unknown reasons.

Now, after cutting off his electronic device from his house arrest ankle monitor while awaiting trial, Snyder was recaptured by Warren County officials and transferred to a mental health facility.

Doesn’t look like this one is going to have a happy ending.
