College Football Week Seven: What We Learned

Mark Ingram is the Hesiman front-runner. This Maurice Jones-Drew clone had a big game against South Carolina and pushed himself atop the Heisman race in my opinion. Ingram rushed for 246 yards against a South Carolina defense that is one of the best in the country.

The refs in the Arkansas-Florida were a joke. The refs in that game were complete idiots. There were two calls that went the Gators way, and one of them was one of the worst calls ever. The first pass interference call could have gone either way, but that personal foul call was the worst call I have ever seen in college football. Those same SEC refs made terrible calls in the LSU-Georgia as well. Those refs need to be removed from the big games because they seem to have hidden agendas.

Sam Bradford’s college career should be over. After seeing Bradford getting slammed on his shoulder again, Bradford should forget about playing this year and get ready for the NFL Draft. It’s not like Oklahoma is in the running for National Title or the Big 12 title, so that Texas game should be his last game as a Sooner.

Terelle Pryor was never a Heisman candidate. Pryor has a lot of work to do to become a complete quarterback. There are way too many times where he just throws the ball up for grabs and hopes one of his receivers come down with the ball. Pryor might have all the talent in the world but if he doesn’t develop, it doesn’t matter.
