Senator Schilling?

If Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura, Al Franken and ‘The Terminator,’ Arnold Schwarzenegger can have success in the world of politics, anyone can.

That has to be the biggest motivation for Curt Schilling, former MLB pitcher, who is considering a run at the Massachusetts U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the late Ted Kennedy.

Schilling admits he has little political experience, but states, “my credentials are that I have no baggage.” If that’s all that needed to make a run for senate these days, this country is in bad shape.

A little bit a fame and fortune can get you just about anything, but how can a republican run for a democratic seat? I guess we’ll soon find out.
