The Weekly Rewind is a recap of some of the most captivating stories of the previous week.

Another boxing champ dies- 38-year-old Vernon Forrest was killed during a robbery attempt late Saturday night in Atlanta, GA. The two-time champ was shot several times in his torso and thigh according to police reports. The Augusta native ended his career with a 41-3 record. Along with Alexis Aruello and Arturo Gatti, he is the third former boxing champ to die this summer.

Montonya penalized, Johnson wins- Jimmie Johnson captured his third Brickyard 400 win on Sunday in Indianapolis. Johnson capitalized when Juan Pablo Montoya was penalized for speeding during a pit stop. Montoya finished 11th. Johnson now trails Tony Stewart by 192 points in Sprint Cup Series standings .

Armstrong finishes third- 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong finished 5 minutes and 24 seconds behind teammate Alberto Contador who captured the yellow jersey in Paris on Sunday. After nearly 4 years away from racing, now 37, Armstrong appeared to be physically weaker than a much younger Contador, but he’ll be back next year.

Big Ben accused of sexual assault
- Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault by Andrea McNulty, a Harrah’s hotel casino employee in Reno. The alleged assault took place in July 2008 and McNulty is seeking $390, 000 in damages. Unlike many other star athletes, Roethlisberger has not been assumed guilty in the court of public opinion and stories of the case isn’t making headlines, especially on ESPN. In fact, Roethlisberger filmed a episode of Shaq’ s ABC reality show last week, I guess being ‘Big Ben’ has its upsides.

Vick is back on the streets- Freedom at last for Michael Vick. The prison term is over, house arrest is done, now, hopefully, he’ll be back on the field soon. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has yet to determine rather Vick will serve a suspension, but should let the guy play. He served his time, now its time for him to entertain us on the field again, at least T.O. thinks so.
