Weekly Rewind

The Weekly Rewind is a brief recap of some of the previous week’s most captivating stories in the sports and entertainment world.

A stroll down memory lane– 59-year-old Tom Watson was on the verge of his 6th British Open Championship, but was overcome by Stewart Cink on the fourth playoff hole on Sunday in Scotland. Watson’s performance was legendary and it reminded some, and showed many, how great a player he was in his prime.

ESPN ESPY Awards- Honestly, the ESPY Awards is a well put together annual event. I think the award show is legit, because stars from every walk of life come out. Condoleeza Rice presented an award and the greatest athletes in the world are all in the same room, gotta love it.

Yeah, Andrews is hot, but come on man!- Erin Andrews is a very attractive woman and most men, if not all, would love to see her in the nude. But making a peep hole to see the goods is pretty low. I hope the stalker that videoed her and placed it on the web is put in jail, but I’m still upset I didn’t see the footage before it was pulled. Be patient guys, she’ll be in Playboy in about 2 years.

T.O. has a reality show– T.O. is an arrogant, narcissistic, but talented athlete and VH1 has given him an 8-episode reality show. so you see, in his words, “Terrell you’ll see pretty much on this show,” Owens said. “It’s pretty much to the ‘T’ of how I am. I mean, it’s reality.” Are you gonna watch? I am, get ready to laugh folks. The show airs tonight at 10PM eastern.

Armstrong is still in it– In his first Tour De France appearance in 4 years, Lance Armstrong proving to the cycling world that he still has it. Armstrong is currently 2nd, trailing his teammate Alberto Contador by 1 minute and 37 seconds after the 15th stage.
