UFC’s Iceman on verge of retirement

According to his trainer John Hackleman, former UFC light heavyweight champ, Chuck Liddell is contemplating retirement, but will make final decision over the weekend.

With a record of 21-7, Liddell was once considered one of the best in fighters in the sport, but recently has been dominated in the octagon. The Iceman has lost 4 of his last 5 fights, most recently to Mauricio Rua in the first round of UFC 97.

The 39-year-old is expected to meet with UFC president Dana White, his trainer and family and friends before making a final decision. If I was a betting man, I’d say this is the end of the road for the Iceman.
