Anderson gets caught with cocaine


Former Atlanta Falcons running back was released from jail Sunday night after being arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession.

According to police spokesman Otis Redmond, an off-duty officer witnessed Anderson and 20 year-old Mark Hudson snort cocaine in a men’s restroom stall at Peachtree Tavern in Atlanta around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

During the arrest, police found cocaine and marijuana in Anderson’s pocket, both men were taken to the Fulton County jail. Anderson was released on $6,000 bond while charges were dropped against Hudson.

Anderson was a member of the Falcons for 8 seasons and(1994-2001) still holds Falcons’ franchise record for rushing yards in a single-season, 1,846. This past season, Anderson was a NFL analyst on ESPN’s ‘First Take.’ Though unconfirmed, Anderson has analyzed his last game on ESPN.
