You Can Sleep At Night Again Dabo, CJ’s Coming Back

In a surprising move, to say the least, CJ Spiller has chose not to enter the NFL draft and return to Clemson for his senior season. Who’s unhappy about this? A couple of NFL teams that had visions of CJ returning punts, kickoffs, and lining up in the backfield as well as in the slot. Who happy about this? Definitely Dabo Swinney. Here’s what Dabo had to say after CJ’s press conference.

I am obviously thrilled that C.J. Spiller will be returning to Clemson next year. It was just like the day he signed with us three years ago. There was a lot of anticipation in what he would decide. I really feel this is the best decision for C.J. He will be our featured player in our offense next year. I am anxious to see what he can do in that role. He is a back who can rush for 1000 and get another 500 receiving. That is something that has never been done at Clemson. He can be a first-team All-American and a Heisman candidate.

You forgot something else that CJ can accomplish this upcoming season, Dabo. He can single handily make your first season a success which would go a long way in keeping you employed for the long haul.

Spiller might have a big season, but it don’t matter.Clemson loss their starting QB, their top 2WR and their starting safeties.Their backup QB is playing baseball so they better hope Willy Korn is the player they thought he was when they recruited him.

  2. Spiller is what I like to call a “game changer”. Willy Korn’s only job should be get this man the ball as much as possible.

But Spiller can only do so much.I think Jacoby Ford has to step up this year.

  4. I can agree with that. But it needs to be Spiller’s show
