Cavs still streaking at home

The Cleveland Cavaliers have taken full advantage of homecourt so far this season in the NBA. With their 112-95 win over the Los Angeles Clippers this evening, they are now 22-0 at Quicken Loans Arena.

At 36-9, Cleveland is in first place in the Central Division and are currently second in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Celtics by a 1.5 games. Coach Mike Brown has his team playing inspired basketball and of course having King James doesn’t hurt. James is again having a MVP season averaging 28pts., 7rebs and 7asts per game.

Cleveland’s 2007-08 season ended in the 7th game of a second round series versus the eventual champs, Boston Celtics. The deciding factor in the series ironically was home court advantage, neither team won away from home. If the Cavaliers continue to dominate at home, you can rest assure that they’ll represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.
