Shaq is still dominating

Sure, he’s a 17-yr vet and doesn’t average 25ppg. & 11rpg. anymore, but he’s still the most dominating big man in the league.

Of late, Shaquille O’neal has been on a tear; scoring 20+ points in 2 of the team’s last 3 games. He’s easily been the most consistent member of the Phoenix Suns averaging 17pts. and 9rebs. per game.

The Suns are currently 2nd in the Pacific division at 17-12. The team has had problems adjusting to new head coach Terry Porter’s defense first, inside out philosophies, but Shaq has flourished. Even with Shaq playing well, the Suns will not advance deep into the postseason unless they tighten up on the defensive end, their opponents average 102 ppg. Win or lose, its still exciting to see the big guy show some signs of life.

So true! It’s nice to see the big fella getting touches again. He’s still too dominant down low to play single coverage

  2. I wish he had a little more help down low, Amare is too inconsistent.
