Antoine Walker’s: Stat line of the week #5

Antoine Walker With 5 weeks in the books for the NBA season, teams are settling in and slowly taking their positions.

Of course the Lakers (14-2) and Celtics (17-2) are at the top of their respective conference standings. The early season surprises are the teams that hold the second spot in the conferences; the Chauncey Billups led Denver Nuggets (13-6) and Cleveland Cavaliers (14-3) have thus been better than expected.

Nevertheless, the NBA still has teams and many players that aren’t that good. Some players have bad games and shoot poorly, while others shouldn’t be shooting the rock at all.

With that said, I am crowning C Dan Gadzuric as the “Can’t Get no Lower Award” winner this week. I chose him mainly because he’s Dan Gadzuric and he took 12 shots, this should never happen.

The Milwaukee Bucks center averages 3.2 ppg and 2.8 rpg. During the Bucks loss to the Detroit Pistons 107-97 on last Friday, Gadzuric figured he put up some shots.

He went 3-12 from the field/25%, 4-4 from the foul line and had12 rebs and 3blks.

By his standards, this was a pretty good game, but the Bucks (7-12) are in bad shape if they have to depend on Gadzuric to produce points. Good luck on a long season coach Skiles.
