So, according to the Boston Globe, NBA sources are saying that George Karl has laid down the law to his two All-Stars, Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson. Apparently he told both Iverson and Anthony that
“they would have to make a stronger effort to get their teammates more involved offensively.”
In leyman’s terms he means, PASS THE BALL. Good Luck with that one!
If that isn’t enough, he has even gone as far as only working on defense during the first four days of practice. Man, that hot seat must be really hot for ole George to be talking about defense. I always thought defense to Karl was getting up more shots than your opponent.
