The NFL’s golden boy, and reigning NFL MVP Tom Brady, was injured in the first quarter of the New England Patriots season opener against the Chiefs and is out for the season with an ACL injury(left knee). Since becoming the Patriots starter during the 2001 season, Brady has never missed a start. The Patriots have opted not to bring in any other quarterbacks, so Matt Cassel is now the man, time to work your magic Belichick. On a personal note, Tom Brady was my fantasy league quarterback. Along with the other fantasy team owners that drafted Brady, our fantasy season is over. No Brady, equals no championship.
Brady, out for the season. Goodbye Fantasy Leagues!
